Join us on November 16th for a double header day of amazing seminars taught by Chief Instructor Jeff Mount! These seminars are open to people of all experience levels, ages 16+. We will be covering realistic scenarios unique to multiple attacker and 3rd party defender situations and the specialized training that comes with being prepared for any kind of threat. Below is more information on each seminar, which you have the option of attending just one or both, with a lunch break in between.
MULTIPLE ATTACKER (9am-1pm): In a violent assault, one assailant is truly dangerous. But statistics show that many of the most violent crimes are carried out by attackers who work in groups of 2 or more.
In this seminar, we will cover:
Pre-attack dynamics: what to look for prior to the attack
Avoiding ambush-style attacks
Stacking and other crucial multiple-attacker defense strategies
Defenses for standing and ground attacks
When to fight, when to flee, when to escalate
Armed and unarmed attackers
3RD PARTY DEFENDER (2pm-6pm): Often in a threatening situation, it is not ourselves who is in danger - it is another. Intervening when another person is being targeted for attack is a unique and challenging situation.
In this seminar, we will cover:
When to intervene/when to avoid intervening
3rd Party defenses against basic attacks such as punches, chokes, headlocks
Defenses against handgun and knife threats towards others
Situational awareness and verbal skills to complement physical skills
Rendering aid to the victim, reporting to authorities, etc.
Be sure to register before November 2nd to snag that earlybird pricing! We can’t wait to train with you!
